Absolutely loved every second of it and surprised a few with my pace. Couple guys watching out for me as when I got past them they couldn't keep up.

I thought I may have to work on my weight but had to add 4k weight on kart to make minimum requirements.

Hardest part is not the racing but in the pits where setting up the kart and getting it ready for each race takes allot of fast paced changes. Very struggle when you need to run to the toilet after all the vibration.

The racing itself is very professional and we'll worth every penny glad a found out about it

Just gutted I race on same days as the tt breakfast meet. 4th Sunday of each month but 5 Sundays in July so make that one.

Sounds like a great effort.
Maybe you need a bigger Pistonheads sticker?

Going to Golspie in july

We had a grid of 22 but 30 registered few couldn't make round 1

Which is a shame as we can't come and support you either. Still, once you're in F1, I'm sure there are midmonth races too?

Home after a dreadfull weekend. Started sat morning good then last thing on Sat night developed some engine problems. Done what I could as couldn't do any more testing so was down to Sunday practice and qualifying. Seemed ok but still had a sticky throttle on one engine. Qualified 12th and hot of to a decent start pushing to get past in front. Came out corner end of straight into the infield and touched the brakes as I would and spun round quick out of control. Recovered and making up places and same part again went for an overtake and on the brakes and round again. But this time the revs up on 1 engine stuck out and noticed throttle wasn't returning therefore still under power while trying to brake.. Then discovered a rear hub had moved slightly with the amount of grip. So finished race and adjusted and time to try the mods. Ideal sorted the rev problem. But then the rear hub moved more enough to rub the side of the engine causing tyre smoke. Retirement. Quickly removed wheel and re set hub and tighten enough to strip the head of the bolt. And check tyre. Worn the inside tyre wall enough to worry but held the air. Race 3 started ok but still weary about the hub so taking it easy round the left hand bends. Then 3 laps from end felt loss of power and a engine starting to smoke. Lunch time. Changed hib bolt to steel and fitted a jubilee clip for extra locking and then cleaned the carb jets hoping was result for loss of power. Race 4 started 2nd last. Race start flag drops and full throttle everybody is away and time I got to turn 1 kart in front had already been and gone round turn 2. Game over. No point in continuing and destroying engines as 1 smoking and 1 acting weird.

On a plus ish side came home with a trophy for 3rd place rookie out of 3 rookies racing today so nice we trophy for last place lol

Goal ahead of next month fully strip both engines and full rebuilds as well as strip and check full chassis

After starting racing these in 2017 really enjoyed it but sadly work got in the way and fall behind making few rounds.

Missed the last round to take time to blitz the kart and start the ordering of new parts

2018 going to start with a kart with more money spent on it than what I paid for it including 2 brand new engines and bodywork

Some footage and interviews from weekend. My dodgy interview as I just sat down to stretch my back and got pounced on.

Be sure to watch out for the 55 blue kart
