Toying with Japs

Postby MarkR26 » Fri Feb 19, 2016 5:01 pm

I've been toying with the idea of buying some kind of JDMness for a while.
Unfortunately my wife is also a bit of a Petrolhead so she likes to have a say in such matters.
Something that has a big boot would be ideal to cart baby, bike and hillwalking stuff about although not always at the same time.
For that reason I've been looking at Subaru Legacy Spec B and Forester STIs but also have a weird feeling whenever I see an FD2 Civic.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience of running any of the above and that might let me have a poke about if you turn up at a breakfast meet?

What that an estate version of the Lancer Evo at the breakfast meet?

The problem with a lot of the 90s/00s Jap wagons is that the interiors are terrible compared to the standards that are expected these days.

I have an Impreza STi (2005) that you are more than welcome to take a look at.
Not as big as the Leggy but I would say much more fun.

Very practical, we did a 2800 mile honeymoon camping trip around Europe in it.
