I reckon it was worth all the hassle, given that he now gets to hoon it around from vineyard to vineyard every summer.

I have had a few now, started with a 1998 4.0 Chimaera, owned it for 3 years before changing for a 1999 4.2 cerbera, ( 4.5 bottom end) and decided to pull it to bits for 18months and bought a 2000 Tuscan red rose to fill my Tvr need for the summer, I sold the Tuscan on and kept the cerbera as it was my favourite to drive out of the two cars,

Since in the Brit section the rest off the fleet are Brit cars as well the daily is a Freelander 2, no pictures required. My latest acquisition is my favourite car just now, so much fun, a 1996 rover mini equinox 1275 ski

The mini has just 45bhp as I had it on my mates hub dyno recently :lol: , but it does not matter it is just much fun to drive,

I plan on doing Le mans classic 2016 in it with a few mates and at least one other mini. We did this years LMC in the Cerbera , a fantastic event and the journey was a adventure in itself.

You should get a mini in there, a great contrast to the 911 but I bet just as much fun.
I use mine almost every day now to nip around locally, 45-50 mpg nice and cheap to run and lots of smiles and positive reaction from people you drive past.
A good investment if its clean as well now, prices are on the climb now!
