Gotta say, that is a mighty handsome looking thing from the front.

Rear end looks a bit out of proportion to me, think it's the big flat area under the rear plate thats doing it.

The discovery should be an utilitarian car with a touch of class about it. Very capable off road and can be chucked about without worrying.


That's a spangley "disco" ball for showing off to the neighbors.

But this is really a Freelander replacement. Why can't it look good and be alright off road?

That makes sense then, Freelander has always been byword for "a bit crap"

I don't doubt for a minute that it will be good off road. But they're testing it at the Nurburgring is surely a bad sign for an off-road orientated car?

I just fear that it's another step to turn the brand into "bigger jaguars".
