Has anyone ever used one of the headlight restoration kits to get rid of lens oxidation/cloudiness etc?

Mikey I have not used the kit but had great results on the GTO using the meguiars polisher with a cutting pad and some compound, it took a while!

Thanks Craig. I've got some Megs Ultimate Compound so could try that. Not got a polisher though so would be by hand.

The 350Z. They're not really bad but a bit cloudy.

Chairman of TIPEC just done his Jeep lights.

mine were dire the RH one doesn't show quite how bad in the pic because of the sun. I used a bucket of water with a squirt of washing up liquid in. Started with 800 wet n dry, then 1200-2000-2500. Then Auto Glym Paint renovator, finally finished off with AG Super Resin polish & then Rejex. All done manually took around 15-20 mins per light. You MUST rub in parallel lines not scrub in circles.

Certainly helped. Could try on an old light from the scrappies first?
