Maserati summer detail

Postby highlander » Sat Apr 30, 2016 4:37 pm

Hi
Posted these pics on the Maserati forum but thought I should post them here too.
A day and half's work well spent I think ;) I used the kestrel DAS first with poor boy to remove last years polish and wax then chipex kit to touch up stone chips, again I then used the kestrel to apply 2 coats of meg's polish and finished off by hand with Harley's wax. Still to clean the wheels so will get to them over the week at some point.

Sure! Just drop her off......might need to "test" the wax finish for a month or two though, so you can get her back in, say, September? ;)

Do you not use a sealant between polish and wax?

What I now you could write on a pubic hair...
But I use a sealant...Autoglym. EGP before the HD wax. Seems to bead up a treat

That looks great, I find it quite therapeutic getting the cleaning gear out. Peace and quiet away from all that x factor and the like crap on the telly these days

Come and do mine also, I've noticed a few bits needing sorted, she's looking good after the dent man worked his magic, bit a few scuffs, some small areas peeling lacquer, and I need to get the rear arches done again. Oh and sort out the scratched headlights, then she may look as well as Marci.
