New Porsche owner - 968

After the demise of my Elise, picked this up on Friday night, a 1994 968 Club Sport, certainly not mint condition as it has done 150k but I know the previous owner of 12 years, it has been serviced and looked after by George Morrison in that time and we agreed what seemed a reasonable price so thought why not.
Club Sport doesn't seem too extreme so far, suspension, interior and practical wise coming from the Elise which there probably isn't many cars you can say that about !
Think the 'extras' it has are central locking and sunroof, standard Club Sport apart from that.

My mates parents live on your street Ian.

He text me a pic of your car last night saying he thought it looked amazing. He's in the process of having his 944 S2 refurbed in Riviera Blue. You'll no doubt get a knock at the door from a wee fat Italian at some point soon.

Funny how you guys swapped the other way, 968 for Elise (well not quite swapped but you know what I mean).

Looks lovely. Aye, miss our speed yellow CS - we went the other way, from the 968 to the Elise. Miss having pop up headlights - although they weren't the greatest at actually helping visibility in the dark (and sometime) wet Scottish winter evenings!!

Probably no worse than the Elise lights though.

Didn't get chance to drive it much at weekend but the long bonnet does feel a bit weird especially with the lights up, headlights didn't seem too bad even though they aren't aligned very well. Happy to accept any passing friends Olie who I'm sure will be more knowledgeable than me.
And I'll be at one of the meets soon.
