The return of the Blackpool bruiser has been long anticipated and many doubted it would actually happen, but today has put to bed any uncertainly over their return.
Headlines are:
– 5 litre naturally aspirated V8
– Rear wheel drive
– Manual gearbox
– Approx 500 bhp
– 0-62 sub 4 seconds
– Top speed 200 mph
– Sub 1250 kg
– Approx £90K (for launch model)
Size wise, it’s smaller than a 718 Cayman, while the engine is a modified version of the Mustang unit. The price tag may sound pretty steep but hopefully this is just the start of a successful comeback for TVR and other models will follow.
