Scott BlytheI've been testing the fleet out in the snow. Volvo is fun but gets stuck easily.

Gilbert CunninghamMany years ago our families VW Beetles would go anywhere in the snow, skinny tall tyres and rear engine equals great traction. Now we have wide tyres designed for "economy" and no traction.

Stuart BellQuattro and Goodyear Ultragrip 8’s. No issues whatsoever in snow. The compacted snow/iced roads tonight however were not pleasant at all. 6 cars crashed on Arkleston Rd. I engaged “1st gear and no throttle” for the descents !

Grant McUnfortunately the doblo work van doesn’t have a snow mode, it’s French, so every mode is “surrender” 😂 If only I could just take the Evo to work.. then I’d be perfectly fine!

Alistair TaylorGiulia Quadrifoglio plus Michelin Alpin 4s and amazingly easy driving in this weather in Advanced Efficiency mode! No drama at all. Can’t recommend those tyres highly enough!

Ross KaniaNo problem with the M140i in the snow. Found it easy with the auto in manual mode and traction turned partly off.

The All American Racer. Rest in peace Dan, we’ll never see your like again. With humility, grace, charm and humour you did it all. Our family send our condolences to Evi, the whole Gurney family, everyone at AAR and all Dans friends.

Lee ReaderDaniel Sexton Gurney gave Porsche its only success as a vehicle manufacturer in the Formula 1 World Championship, when he won the 1962 French Grand Prix in Rouen in an eight-cylinder Por-sche 804. He also stepped into the McLaren team after the untimely death of Bruce. So many big moments to document in one post. 😢
