TT’s commercial partner programme has been devised in order to allow TT to continue it’s growth and fund the vital work required to keep providing good quality content, features and events to the Scottish motoring community, but also to provide links for our readers to fellow car enthusiast companies who can provide products or services to the Tartan Tarmac readers.

John Steele, co-founder of Tartan Tarmac says “It’s hard to think of a better company to have as our first commercial partner than the Edinburgh Watch Company. Many of our readers’ interest in sports and classic cars will be mirrored by an interest in other items including lovely watches such as those provided by Jonathan’s company. Prior to being our official partner, Jonathan has attended various TT events as a fellow car enthusiast. Who can forget the Ferrari Panerai watch getting passed around the table at our curry night a few months ago!”

“Those of us who were lucky enough to go on the Spring Run to Torridon and Applecross will also know that Jonathan is a very handy driver. If his watch procurement skills are half as good then we’ll all be buying from him.”

Jonathan Gilbert, owner of the Edinburgh Watch Company commented “As the owner of Edinburgh Watch Company I am very pleased to be invited as a commercial partner in our Tartan Tarmac community.

Having been involved for some time now at the regular Sunday meets and recently displaying at the Erskine Classic Car Show there is definitely an interesting synergy between cars and luxury watches!”
