Blowing off the cobwebs

Well it’s official, winter is finally over, how do I know this? Well it’s easy, 25 Ferrari’s came out of hibernation for the first West of Scotland Ferrari owners club run of 2014, and not a moment too soon.

It’s been a long winter, my car has been in the garage since October, weather has been terrible so I decided this year to do a bit of winter maintenance and strip the suspension to clean and paint it and do a brake job all round. The car just went back together in late April, sailed through an MOT and was taxed and serviced on the 1st of May.

Our run started at the Carrick lodge Loch Lomond, the weather forecast was poor but we had sunshine and it was dry and many fingers were crossed it would stay that way, from the Carrick we went up to the rest and be thankful, some of our members took the opportunity to drive the private hill climb road and the rest of us enjoyed the sight and sound from the car park. Our final destination was Cromlix house which is owned by Scottish tennis ace Andy Murray and has recently been refurbished and provided us with a most enjoyable lunch, after which the rain started, how lucky were we!

Anyway enough of my rambling, watch the highlight video of the run below and let us know what you think on the forum.
